H5st7 - towed side-scan sonar (SSS) with the possibility of on-Board accommodation.
The h5st7 is an ultra-compact, ultra-high-resolution towed side-view sonar (SSS) of the Hydra series, providing on-Board mounting capability.  It is used for search of sunken objects, monitoring of objects of underwater infrastructure, control of a condition of fairways and port water with depths to 50 m. It is included in the towed kit  SSS TS001.
Application of the most modern technologies in acoustics, microelectronics and hydrodynamics allowed to develop a compact and efficient model. The H5st7 is a monoblock SSS mounted in a removable streamlined towed body along with a sealed battery pack and cable modem. The chosen " Y " - shaped hydrodynamic scheme with three ribs improves the stability of the SSS when towing.
The package includes a tow cable and a modem with the ability to connect to a computer via Wi - Fi or Ethernet. The maximum length of the cable rope is 100m, which allows towing at depths of up to 30 meters. When the length of the cable is >20m ,the  delivering  kit  includes a winch.
The maximum recommended distance of SSS from the bottom is 20m, while providing the maximum depth range surveyed up to 50m when towing, or up to 20m when on-Board mounting.
SSS operates at 700 kHz, and provides real-time high-quality image of the bottom with photographic quality in a wide swath , and with ultra-high range resolution.

Built-in batteries allow to work up to 12 hours without recharging.

The delivery set includes a tow cable-rope with a power eyelet and a sealed connector. The maximum length of the cable rope is 100m, which allows towing at depths of up to 30 meters. On the carrier ship, the power eyelet of the cable-rope is connected to the towed hook or other power fixture.  The electricalconnector of thecable-rope connects to Your laptop (Windows PC) via Ethernet.

Portability:
Towed body has a small size and weight (length 40 cm, weight with built-in battery no more than 2 kg), which ensures its delivery to any water objects.  The sonar can be easily and quickly deployed on any carrier. In the absence of external power supply, the built-in battery provides up to 10 hours of SSS operations. Small-sized narrow-profile design of the SSS monoblock allows you to place it on Board of any vessel on a rod with a cross section of 20x40mm and a minimum depth while on-Board mounting.
