The H5sf7 is a side scan sonar (SSS)
The H5sf7 is a compact ultra-high resolution side scan sonar (SSS) of the HydraТМ series, combined with a Forward Locking Sonar (FLS) in one package of on-Board accommodation
Operating frequencies 700 kHz (SS) and 400 kHz (FS) allow to work at depths up to 20m. It is intended for survey study of water areas, search operations, ensure the safety of navigation.
An effective side scan method is used to search for objects on large areas, which allows to reduce the time of work and material costs. Sonar survey of the water area is carried out by SSS, placed on Board of a moving carrier (vessel, boat, boat, etc.), allowing to obtain a digital high-quality detailed acoustic image of the bottom in real time.
The recommended depth range of up to 70 m allows a offshore operation.
The easy-to-install SSS can be mounted on any type of vessel and provides bottom image capture on both sides.
The SSS connects to a PC compatible computer with Microsoft ® Windows ® Operating System via an Ethernet port. The HyScan program, included in the delivery set, provides real-time scanning and viewing of data, recording and subsequent playback, measurement of object parameters.
Fields of application:
- bottom survey observation, identification of relief features, various inhomogeneities;
- search for objects at the bottom and in the water column;
- detection of obstacles along the way;
- engineering and ecological monitoring.
