Echo-sounding complexes
Echo-sounding complexes enable the surveying works execution. Side scan sonars with built-in echosounder (SSSE), echosounders (ES), interferometric SSS are used.
Side-scan sonar with built-in echosounder (SSSE) combines side-scan sonar (SSS) and echosounder (ES).
The use of SSS and ES is possible simultaneously or separately. The ES allows to use SSSE as sounding complex, which performs the standard echo-sounding survey and echo-sounding survey with instrumental estimation. In the series of hydrolocation complexes Hydra™ there is a line of models that perform the function of SSSE. SSSE Hydra™ series are mobile, small and lightweight devices that allow you to perform a wide range of tasks. Mobility allows you to install the complex on different vessels and transport it. Stationary accommodation of the complex is also possible. Due to its small size and weight, SSSE can be placed on any type of vessels - from small (inflatable boats) to large displacement vessels.
The use of modern technologies allows you to take pictures of the water area, getting an acoustic "photo" of the bottom in high digital quality. Data of survey is recorded without loss of quality with the possibility of further playback and processing. IBM PC compatible computer with Windows operating system is used to work with SSSE.

Interferometric side-scan sonar (ISSS) is one of the most effective tools of echo-sounding survey and hydrographic survey of area method (phase areal bathymetry).
ISSS is an extension of the side-scan sonar with built-in echosounder (SSSE). Separate phase receiving channels are added.
ISSS can perform all functions of SSSE and additionally receive data on the depth in the capture band up to 6 depths (due to special data processing). Compared to multibeam echosounders (MES), ISSS contains less number of channels (7 against tens and hundreds of MES), which greatly simplifies the equipment and reduces its cost without compromising quality.
There are ISSS sonar complexes in Hydra™ series range of models. ISSS is designed for high-quality visual inspection (survey) of the bottom surface and water column, construction of bathymetry in different waters with the possibility of archiving, subsequent reproduction, analysis and processing of the information.
ISSS Hydra™ series are mobile, small and lightweight devices that allow you to perform a wide range of tasks. Mobility allows You to freely move the complex from one vessel to another, to transport it by any means of transport. It is possible and stationary accommodation of the complex. Due to its small size and weight, ISSS can be placed on all types of vessels - from small (inflatable boats) to large displacement vessels.
The Hydra™ series produces ISSS models for specialized professional applications.
